Your day to day

Join us as Training and Development Coordinator at InterContinental Sofia located in the city center of Bulgaria's capital. You will have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills to complement our passionate and professional Human Resources team. Your key job responsibilities within this role will be:• Working with the Human Resources Manager and Heads of Departments to analyse the hotel and department training needs • Creating and executing an annual training calendar and monthly training plan• Conducting training session for the company’s Brand Orientation with new hotel colleagues• Keeping track of all records relating to training• Managing IHG’s learning platform and ensuring all colleagues complete the mandatory training courses for their respective positions• Liaising and communicating with the corporate Learning team and colleagues in other hotels to stay up to date with new training courses and deliver them at the hotel in a timely manner• Supporting the Human Resources team in recruitment process • In charge of the onboarding process for new colleagues, ensuring that they are properly trained on all job-related topics in a timely manner• Supporting the Human Resources Manager with leading the performance review process at the hotel • Working closely with Managers on Personal Development Plans for all colleagues and supporting the development of high potential employees within the hotel and the company• Supporting the Human Resources department in other human resources activities as internal communication, staff events/meetings, responsible business staff actions, etc

What we offer

What we look for in the right candidate:• At least 1 year experience in training or a similar role; previous experience in the hotel business is an advantage• Passion for sharing knowledge with others and training• Organized, self-motivated and flexible• Proactive behaviour and ease of speaking in front of other• Fluent spoken and written English and BulgarianA valid work permit for a European country is required.
