Our hotel belongs to InterContinental Hotels Group, the largest hotel group in the world in the number of guest rooms. ANA Crowne Plaza hotel was rebranded in October 2008 from ANA Hotel Osaka. Our hotel is managed by IHG ANA Hotels group Japan.


DOHR (HR Business partner) is responsible for all HR Operations in the hotel as aligned to the Global and Australasia people strategies and the hotels strategic business plan. This role drives the People agenda in the hotel, accessing the full suite of branded People tools, leveraging the IHG Employer Brand and IHG ways of working. Supporting the General Manager and Operational leaders, this role provides HR services that enable the delivery of business results to meet IHG performance targets. It drives organizational capability, systems and processes within the hotel and ensures winning becomes a habit through embedding a high performance culture and championing quality, process excellence and continuous improvement. Responsible for driving the effective and efficient delivery of HR Services and leading their HR team to ensure HR metrics are achieved through providing strategic business partnering and utilizing available expertise, solutions, product and services that are brand aligned.


Required Skills & Education :• Bachelor's degree in business or Master’s degree (preferred but not required)• Knowledge of Japanese labor law, social insurance law, tax law and other related law • Creative thinking/problem solving skills necessary • Effective negotiation and communications (both oral and written) skills required • Computer literate (MS Word, Excel and Power Points)• Official qualification of Health supervisor (Grade 1)• Official qualification of Public consultant on social and labor insurance (if possible)• Financial knowledge• Fluency of English and Japanese in both written and verbal (Effective managerial skills, Strong written and communication skills)• More than 5 to 8 years working experience in HR 3 years or longer as HR Manager 2 years or longer as Director of HRCore Competencies:• Integrity to be compliant with IHG’s code of conduct. • Ability to understand the target and goal of the team and to achieve own role • Creativity and innovation to think “outside the box”• Ownership and accountability with prioritization to meet deadlines and commitments• Strong influence skills to remotely coordinate and impact the progress of projects• Motivation of self-development through jobs • Ability to control daily and long-term plans and Gs & Os as well as work projects and meet deadlines and commitments• Ability to demonstrate coaching and guidance skills for people development • Ability to improve any working process, aiming at effective and efficient operation• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills• Able to maintain high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.• A team player and good in negotiation skills and influencing skill.
