Our Reservations Sales Specialists will assist guests with reservations and other hotel related inquiries, and provide elite customer service to our guests while promoting/selling our hotels.
Job Summary – (Role Summary)
To be the primary point of contact for InterContinental Hotels Group customers for information, reservations and other services within the borders of departmental procedures. To convert as many requests as possible into confirmed room reservations at the highest rate possible in an accurate way while offering excellent customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities – (Key Activities)
To convert as many requests as possible into confirmed reservations at the highest possible rate within the framework of the performance management system in order to achieve or exceed the set revenue targets. To enroll as many people as possible in the Priority Club Rewards Loyalty Program.
Customer ServiceTo provide all customers with the highest level of customer service, exhibiting interest, enthusiasm and professional image to achieve customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Reservations Processes and ProceduresTo have full knowledge of all company brands, products, programs and reservations policies and procedures in order to quote and input timely, accurate and complete information leading to customer satisfaction and efficiency.
Contribution to departmental processesTo timely inform the Supervisor of any issues relevant to office performance or environment in order to contribute to a continuous efficient departmental operation.
What we need from you
Ideally, the role will need candidates with experience in customer service, call center, contact center, BPO, sales, and/or hotels but we are interested in you even if you don't.
Some of our best employees came to IHG® with no work history at all. We are looking for great communicators who have the ability to quickly develop relationship with our guests. We are looking for candidates with strong interpersonal and customer service skills, excellent verbal communication skills, and the ability to quickly navigate web pages.
Native-level Hindi Language skills in both written and spoken is required for the role.**
Anyone applying for the role must be at least 18 years old and willing to work on graveyard shifts, holidays and weekends.
