Your day to day

Join us as a part-time storeperson, we're looking for someone who will assist in the smooth running of all aspects of the hotel's purchasing and receiving of goods including all ordering through our online purchasing system, establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, checking and storing of all incoming items, ensuring maximum/minimum stock levels of all items, promote compliance internally with established standards and assist in stock taking and cost control initiatives.

What we need from you

Ideally, you'll have a real passion for hospitality and possess the ability to interact with all internal & external customers. • It’s a physical role and you’ll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is important• Strength – with occasional lifting of items up to 23 kilograms and or push/pulling heavy objects• You’ll might need to bend and kneel to complete some activities• Ensuring correct policies and procedures are followed and for food items HACCP principles are strictly adhered to• English Literacy skills - reading, writing and basic maths skills• Computer skills not limited to email, excel, word etc • Flexible attitude to shifts – you may need to work nights, weekends and/or holidays• Current Forklift ticket essential or the willingness to obtain • You must have the right to work in Australia to apply - no sponsorship will be offered
