Your day to day
Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley, located in the heart of the Hunter Valley, just over two hours north of Sydney, offers premier resort accommodation with a scenic golf course, breathtaking vineyard views and great leisure facilities right on our door step.
We are looking for a part-time Reservation Sales Agent to join our busy Reservations team based in the hotel.
Reporting into the Reservations Manager, you’ll liaise directly with our guests via phone and email where efficiency and accuracy are key to success in this role. On the daily, you’ll:
Assist guests with reservation enquiries and think outside the box to make their stay memorable, while identifying opportunities to maximise their spend – which will make you one of our knowledge gurus
Be responsible for providing prompt, courteous and efficient handling of all requests for guest reservations, changes and cancellations
Process all reservations prior to guest arrivals and work collaboratively with our Front Office team to ensure our guests have a seamless arrival experience
Manage a range of guests such as leisure, groups, corporate clients and travel agents
Be a Hotel ambassador, positively representing the Crowne Plaza and IHG brands
What we need from you
Proven experience in Reservations, Reception, Front Office or similar preferred but not essential
Hotel industry experience is advantageous but not essential
Passion for customer service with ambition to provide authentic hospitality
Excellent eye for detail, written and verbal communication and organisational skills
Pro-active, results driven, team player
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload
