About us

We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and experienced Marketing Manager to join The Principal London, soon to be Kimpton Fitzroy London during this exciting time as we transition into the Kimpton brand. Working alongside the Director of Sales & Marketing and supporting the Assistant Marketing Manager this new role will manage all marketing and communications functions ensuring the brand is at the forefront of all communications both internally and externally.

Your day to day

The role of Marketing Manager involves a wide range of duties including:• Manage the flow of information between the hotel and its stakeholders to ensure the commercial success of the hotel. • Manage and update a rolling marketing and communications calendar working closely with the sales and operations teams.• Deliver a calendar of activities and events for across all restaurants and bars to drive footfall and revenue• Build and lead marketing partnerships with relevant international and neighbourhood brands• Play a key role in the planning of the hotel’s PR activities across all outlets as business demands• Manage and support the Assistant Marketing Manager in the development of intuitive and distinctive campaigns• Support all photo and film shoots, whether internal or external• Support and oversee Social Media across different platforms and accounts e.g. (hotel, restaurant, bar)• Support the Assistant Marketing Manager in management of design of online and offline communications• Be accountable for the marketing budget (2019 and beyond)• Host and entertain media contacts in line with the press strategy

What we need from you

As our Marketing Manager, you will:• Have a proven track record and working knowledge of the London hospitality market within marketing & communications• Have experience in marketing destination bars and restaurants• Have a distinctive blend of confidence and personality to best represent Kimpton Fitzroy London• Have a naturally warm and generous personality• Articulate, confident and polished• Impeccable attention to detail and planning abilities• Fantastic people skills and inspire others• Excellent command of spoken and written English along with demonstrable ability to communicate and influence credibly
