Your day to day
Manage deal pipeline of incoming and outbound deal negotiations, maintaining high levels of partner satisfaction and maximizing the profitability of the partnership portfolio to IHG Mid & upscale hotels, IHG P&L, System Fund, and Owner economics.
Execute needs gap analysis by identifying gaps in our current Mid & Upscale portfolio and develop a list of potential programs and initiatives to fill those gaps.
Lead account management and negotiations with partners on a day-day basis when partner is in active negotiation.
Day-day lead on the development of the partnership offering from ideation through to delivery.
Support any new product development efforts with active partners or ideating new product solutions with newand existing partners.
Active monitoring of key competitive movements and assessments of impact on new / existing partners.
Ongoing measurement of the impact of partnerships and assessment of over/under relative to original plan.
What we need from you
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.
Critical Expertise & Experience
6-8 years in consumer-focused sector, preferably within a large multi-national company
Demonstrated track record in successfully leading, developing and launching partnerships
Proven experience in effectively working cross-functionally in a global organization
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Creativity in partnership solution development and ability to think more broadly about enterprise and brand partnership impacts
Technical Skills & Knowledge
Strong drive for results, demonstrated through generating strategy, execution and impact.
Proven track record in effectively managing complex deal negotiations
Execution capability including high level evaluation of partnership economics and value & financial modelling.
Prowess in basic legal structuring as needed, or experience in a legal process.
Demonstrated effective negotiating capability and creative thinking to develop win-win negotiating strategies as well as strategic ways to gain competitive advantage and generate additional profit through business alliances
