Your day to day

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Plans strategies and techniques to be implemented by colleagues for a more efficient and speedy collection of accounts.2. Prepares letters pertaining to collection follow-up and replies to letters of inquiries and complaints from clients and house guests.3. Handles follow-up of delinquent and problem accounts. Endorses delinquent accounts to legal as may deem necessary.4. Verifies and confirms status of prospective accounts through the association of credit executives in the tourism industry and other sources which function is found relevant.5. Attends to over-the-counter needs of house guests for other credit arrangements.6. Coordinates closely with other departments to ensure the correctness of accounts billed.7. Coordinates closely with room and banquet sales regarding inquiries on credit facilities.8. Checks and evaluates credit status of clients applying for credit facility with the hotel.9. Reviews and monitors the aging of accounts receivables on a regular basis.10. Reviews daily the high balance report of house guests’ accounts and follow-ups reminder letters sent.11. Attends monthly credit meeting both with the management and corporate financial controller.12. Prepares policy and procedures for credit & collection.13. Orients new colleagues (i.e. sales executives, front office colleagues, etc.) in regard to credit matters.14. Coordinates with credit card companies, banks and other establishments in relation to the proper orientation of concerned colleagues pertaining to money and credit matters.

What we need from you

Ideally, you'll have a minimum of 2 years experience in Credit Supervisory role in a four or five-star hotel.
